Hello,
I am planning on getting 2 T5 fixtures that are 48" long and have 2 28 watt bukbs each. So a total of 4 x 28 watts. I am going to be putting this over my 55 gal tank. Right now it is a fowlr, but will be putting in some softies. I was wondering what types of corals I can keep under this lighting? Clams? etc...
Thanks in advance for the advice. By the way, the fixture is the Coralife dual bulb T5 fixture. Thanks

I believe that 48" T5's are 54 watts. 4x28 probably wouldnt be enough for clams, but if you got 4x54 you could probably do it if the clams were up in the middle to upper range of the tank.

They are two separate strips that are 2x 28 watts. It is the coralife dual strip. I have 2 of these.

Well , from what I have learned you need at least 260 watts . I`m basically in the same process and went with a Satellite 4X 65 .
