The dachshund & Pink, the Pig
This dachshund is fostering this little guy for another mom who couldn't take care of him.
He had his eyes closed, but now they are open. He is just a little bigger than her other pups.
She loves this little guy as much as the other puppies and she is nursing him back to health.
He is the cleanest pig-uppy ever because she licks him all the time.
HIS NAME IS PINK....

I have no idea. A co-worker sent that to me yesterday. I had to go eat BBQ after work just to feel manly again!

Contrary to popular belief pigs are very clean animals. It's the way people chose to raise them that gave the impression they are dirty. They are also smarter than most dogs which makes them a major pain in the butt to deal with. My brother use to raise them for kids to use for 4H. You'd be amazed at the trouble they could cause just trying to amuse themselves (the pigs, not the kids).

My friend has a korean potbelly pig (I think) and she sent it to doggy training school. It's house broking, knows many tricks and is clean. I enjoy when I visit her because Will is fun to play with.

Oh good lord! That's just adorable.
My sister-in-law had a big ole potbelly for years. She was heart broken when that thing died. And when did we find out he died? Christmas Day after we asked "How's Pig" and sister ran to her room crying. Thanks for that update MOM! I know who has hemorrhoids in the family, but I didn't know the sister's beloved pig died!

LOL...When I first moved to Oklahoma, I got a pig (not a pet) I called it Pork Chop...

Let me tell you something....they are a pain in the a$$........Always got out of the pen, got into a garden I had and ate all my sweet corn, dug up the yard......let's say.....I never got another one

I do have a Pug dog though.....closest thing to a pig I'll ever own

I had a little pink pig as a girl growing up on a farm. They are clean and super smart; Arnold the pig on Green Acres was not an exaggeration. The problem is that that sweet LITTLE pink pig will weigh into the hundreds when it’s grown. It will still want to be just a cuddled and get on your lap just like when it weighed 2 pounds. That type is not a potbelly pig. Because of size the potbelly pig gained popularity, all pigs are very smart, clean and full of personality.
I hope that little piggy is not going to market in the future…the fate of my little piggy, I was just a kid, I had no control or say so and everyone laughed because I got so attached.

sooo sweet. That mommy dog is awesome. I worked with guy that adopted his wife a cute pot belly pig. She became a member of the family. Queen size mattress, pillow, door, yard, house trained etc. Really a great animal. She got a little big, but I have seen bigger dogs. She lived for quite awhile if I remember. Smart as a whip also, and remembered everyone that walked in the door. If you were new to her she let you know it. She squealed, snorted until you stood still and she got your scent. Didn't smell, wasn't agressive, didn't bite, loved everyone including kids, played with anyone who would play with her. Her name???? Petunia

That picture is awesome....I never thought I would see another pic like that lol. Here is my potbelly, he now lives on a friends pig sanctuary with over 60 others. Hope you don't mind me posting.
