ive got a 180 its a Lee Mar flat polished clear view tank with a center overflow the tank alone cost me $1200 before adding 6 more holes for my closed loop system
heres a few pics
im running a 36" sump an ASM G-4 skimmer, a 18W UV, MRC-CR2 Ca Reactor, 1/2hp chiller, fluval 404 to run carbon, auto top off, pan world return pump, 2-250W DE Helios HQI 20K bulbs running with PFO pendants and ballast along with anotehr 260W of PC.... id really want one more MH in there but my electric bill for the tank is already $100+ a month just for the tank alone
my closed loop is awesome takes away the power heads i used to have in my 100g tank i like the look its alot cleaner looking to me....
im using a Reeflo Dart pump thats got 2 exits drilled in the back of the tank middle of each side the two 1" holes T up at a 2" T and go straight down to the pump then straight back up to the Oceans Motion 4 way version 3 then plummed back to the returns from there.... i seem to get pleanty of flow and all the corals/ fish are happy
one thing that went bad was a leak on the back of one of the bulk heads that i didnt notice for about 4 hours until it was underneath my hand scrapped wood floor so it ruinned a few pieces but i fixed them....
just remember when doing pvc use pleanty of glue!
