Forgot how to do this...

I just bought a 55 gal tank off Craigslist that has been professionally maintained for the past 7 years.
It has about 60 pounds of LR in it along with a clown (pink skunk), a damsel (yellowtail) and two green chromis. I had a 55 gal reef tank when i was in college for about a year and it ended up kickin my a$$, both financially and phsyically. That was about 4-5 years ago, and now i am ready to get back to it and make sure that doesnt happen again. The problem is I basically forgot everything I once knew. I mean i know the basics, (ammonia, pH, nitrate, lvls) but I want to make sure i havent left anything out. The tank has obviously cycled and is in really good shape. Is there any kind of checklist someone has out there to refresh my memory?

ALSO Any ideas on which Fish/coral combinations i should start out with?
