This happened here at work yesterday. The girl felt something around her feet and looked down and then all hell broke loose. Shrieking and just about knocked the cubicle down. I am not that scared of snakes but wouold be startled to find one in my cubicle. Not sure what kind of snake this is either but I can tell that it is not poisonous.

I may have jumped being startled, then I would have picked it up as seen in the picture. I think non-poisonous snakes are awesome. My guess it's someones pet that got loose.

Yeah I was also thinking someone brought it to work and it got away. I wouldn't admit to it though.

LOL...That's how I felt about my sons tarantula spider. He was petting it like a puppy...no way would I touch that thing, but a snake..no problem.

One day while I was cooking lunch, my teenage son came into the kitchen talking quietly to himself...my hearing isn't great but I catch..."if I were a spider where would I be?"... I was not a happy mom.

It was confirmed to be a rat snake. I have zero problems with insects and just a little with lizards. I remember when I picked up a cow ant once because I didn't think they bite. I found out the hard way that they do and hurts like nothing I have felt before. Or did it sting me ... I can never remember since I also found out that they are a wasp and not an ant.

A discret office email with "If someone is missing something unusual, see me" may be in order.
