Well to come and find out i have a new killer find thank god it wasnt a mantis but long and behold i have a bulls eye pistal shrimp in my tank as jessy james would say one moster garage FREEEEE BEEEE...lol I will try and get some pics of him..I bought a watchman goby about two weeks ago and he was the one that found him crazy how things can go in a tank with out being seen

Mantis shrimp arent as bad as everyone puts them to be. If you have a small 10-20g you can house one by itself in a species only. Unless its a smasher, then you may be able to house it with some fish if you keep him well fed. BTW, if you ever find a mantis dont kill him, I'll take him

As they get bigger they have the smashing power of a .22 pistol, they can break your finger in a fraction of a second.
I wouldn't mind having one, but what if you ever have to move it or put you hand in the tank??
