I found a zoa eating nudi on my new zoas. I'll take him off, I haven't seen anymore but I'm afraid there may be eggs or babies. What kind of dip would you recommend? freshwater or iodine?

i just pulled the one guy off. i'm going to keep an eye on my zoas and see if they start looking better and see if i can find anymore. i have some iodine dip from seachem that the LFS gave me a bit of to dip another colony that has some sponge growing on it. so i will try that first! thanks!

this doestn really help with the zoas, but i had a colony or green zoas that had a sponge growing over them. if you still have the sponge problem, dip the entire colony in the iodine, then let the whole colony dry out for like 15- 20 mins. then scrape off as much as the sponge as you can, swoosh it around in some iodine again and put it back in the tank. that helped with mine and i was battling it for awhile before i did this.
