Fourline and Sixline Wrasse

i dont think i would, i dont have any experience with both of them being in the same tank together, there too similar and i think they would fight, heres a thread, this person added a six line wrasse with a four line wrasse, the six line died, but then again he said it was only half of the four line wrasses size, take a look

There are a lot of things to consider. Wrasses stake out territory. How big is the tank? How established is the tank? How much grazing room on the live rock is in the tank? What other fish are in the tank? Wrasses are super cool fish. If it is at all questionable and it is in this case then why chance losing a super cool fish? IMO don't risk it.

K thanks for the input. I thought there might be a problem with them being alike but thought you could get around that by adding them at the same time. The tank is 58g and right now only have 2 clown fish. There are not a super amount of caves or anything since we are limited on LR atm. I wanted the Mystery wrasse but my wife wants shrimp in the tank so I was looking for a alternate that would be cool. Is our tank too small for a Hippo tang?
