Hello everyone,
I was hoping to get lighting recommendations for a 112g (60x18x24) FOWLR.
So far, I was looking at:
60" Aquaticlife T5 (216w) = about $400
or on the high end
60" Marineland marine Series Pro (516w) = about $900
I read a recommendation for at least 3 - 4 watts per gallon, and for the Aquaticlife T5, a recommendation to use two (2) units, but I dont think it will fit on my tank (only 18" wide).
Any opinions, recommendations, or suggestions would be most appriciated.
Thank you.

For fish only tanks there isn't a lighting requirement only light to see fish, on my 135 w LR and LS I have a 48" T8 (2) 7600K sunlight bulbs. It a shop light from Menard's, ($10 for fixture; $8 for 2 bulbs) its hidden in my canopy. My coralline algae is growing great and noticed that cyno is staying at bay.

No requirement for LR just for the different organisms that live on it. I was mistaken on bulb its 8000k sky light by sylvania.
