I was originally planning on doing a reef tank, and maybe eventually changing over to one, but I need a stocking suggestion list to choose from.
On a fish only tank, can I get by with less light since I won't have any corals?
My tank is a 45 gallon 36x12x24.
I would like to go semi aggressive to aggressive If I go this route, to get some pretty neat fish.
I want to get all the fish as small as possible, so I can enjoy them in this tank until I get a bigger one set up at home to transfer them into. My wife is on board with getting a 150 at home now...YES...so i eventually will transfer the fish to a bigger more suitable home.
Suggestions welcome please....
also what kind of clean up crew can you put in a tank with these type of fish. Are these fish harder to keep than docile fish in a reef tank?
