Unfortunately that is regular ick. The foxface has that killer camo when it is stressed. The ick spots must cause stress and cause the black spots around the white dot. I had the exact same problem with my first foxface. Unfortunately it killed him very fast so start the qt process. I can promise you it wont make it with out it. Ill try to find one of my old pics of it.
here was my old one

I just picked him up from a lfs in springfield so I am not sure what might have been in the tank. I have nothing but FOWLER
As for it being ick isnt it rather large to be ick ? and it is less than it was the other day. The fish eats like a horse which it did not do the first two days I had it but now its a lawnmower

How is the fish eating and acting? You can stop adding fish to the tank for awhile. That will allow the biological bacteria colonies to build. The tank is new. You have to let it stabilize.

Looking at the link you showed it looks like that but the other person is saying ich how can I be sure what it is ? as I said he eats like a horse litterally and swims back and forth in the tank not lathargic at all etc.

I am having a hard time beliving it is ich. The spots are on one side it only has one spot on the other if it were ich would'nt it be on both sides? I dunno and sep and others think it was stung by something.. The pic of yours I do not see the spots like mine. I am just wanting to know what it is without traveling two hours to saint louis to take to my LFS and assk them then bring him back in the same bag as that certainlyy stresses them out.
Is their someone who is 100% certain what they belive it to be ?

Guess so or maybe it was my treatment of snake oil on the tail with the mix of car wax and canola oil rubbed all over his body.

I agree with it being plain old ich. We get foxface in at work alot and 50% of them come down with ich while in the QT. and these black spots are like little bruises around the little white parasite spot. Hyposalinity works well with foxface.

They are almost all gone. He is eating like a horse so maybe he is beating it off himself.
I removed thhe two devil damsels and I think that helpe a lot. Your right though they did look like bruises.
