Foxface question

I am looking at getting a foxface to eat the massive hair algae problem that I have had for 6+ months now. Does anyone else have a foxface that eats hair algae?

I did the same thing a few months back, cleared all the algae in a couple of weeks, then the little bugger got a taste for squid and brine and has not touched the algae since. A truly beatiful fish will eat right out of my hand just watch the spines.

I have a lawn mower blenny thats the same way, wont hardly touch algae even on the glass, but gobbles flake and prepared food. I had several small tangs that I borrowed from friends and they wont bother with it either. errr I hate algae.

I recently got a Foxface to help with Bryopsis algae... he does eat it but tends to stay away from longer patches. I've also seen him eat bubble algae :nervous:.

I bought one about three weeks ago. I had algae probably 1/2 inch long all over the top of all my LR. I had the guy at the LFS put some plants ang algae in different tanks for me to watch what fish ate the best. My decision was the Foxface. Now I have hardly any algae left (besides on the glass) all is gone off the LR.
