I recently purchased a foxface,it was our first fish after a grouper cycled the tank. I read here it is venemous, how venemous is it? should I return it? a painful venom or deadly? is it easy to get stuck? Has anyone ever been stung ? thanks

Stingings are very uncommon. Most will swim away if you put your hand in the tank. Just watch out and be smart and you'll be fine.

About the same as a Honeybee. If you're alergic to bees then you should pay special attention whenever you have hands in the water.

I'm allegric to bees and wasps so I don't go trying to catch one with my bare hands. Same thing with foxfaces, not a fish you want to be touching. Just use a net, take percausion while hands are in the tank, and you'll be fine.
