Frag Tank soon to set-up?

i have a 40 reef and wanted to set up a 29gal frag tank.
well what would i need to do that?
-lighting
-cleaners
-sand
any others

I dont have sand in mine, glass bottom.

Most people that I have seen use barebottom tanks when setting up frag tanks. You will need some water flow so powerheads would be needed. Skimmer to keep water quality at max. Drip system to keep the calc and alk levels perfect for your youngins.

does it need to be a mature system? any recc. on lighting?

I have a 400 watt MH light over mine, but I also have to run a chiller

Well a mature system would definatly help. Most people don't recommend putting corals into a tank that is less than 4-6 months old. You definatly have to cycle the tank and keep something in there to keep it cycled.
