Frag Tank Startup Question

Probably a dumb question and i'm sorry for asking but i'm setting up a 10 gallon frag tank with no sand and i wanna be sure. Do I need to cycle it before placing my frags in it? I plan on buying fully cured LR rubble for my frags to attach to.

i'd keep the water parameters i the frag tank as closed to ur dt tank as possible. u dont need to let it cycle unless u r adding uncured lr. for a 10 gallon, try to add some water from ur displayed tank.

I was actually going to take 1 or 2 gallons from my DT and put in there then mix the rest with freshly made saltwater. Would that work?
