frag tanks

thought id post it here since i didnt get any replies from the reef sections
what do you guys think about a mini frag tank? i was thinking about purchasing those mini betta tank the (the cube ones) that come with a filter and little pc lights. these are the steps that i am going to do. please leave comments or suggestions.
get water from my tank into the new tank
get some sand from my tank into the new tank around 1/2 inch sand bed
and some crush coral pieces where i would be placing the frags.
water change every week?
top off every day?
would i need to cycle the tank? as for fish probably no fish since the tank is so small. for inverts maybe one small astra snail. what else do you guys and gals recommend. thanks for your time.

do they really come with pc lights?

i have looked at it for a few times and they look like pc lights. 2 strips of light on one of the bottom pieces. so what do you thinking about about the frag tank?

I think it would make a VERY NICE frag tank, but you can do one for a lot cheaper than what that will run you.
