Fragged Toadstoal

Last week I had to frag my toadstool because it tiped over and would not stand back up. The head I sliced in half with a good chunck of the stalk and placed on two pieces of rock whick I then covered with netting to get the frag to stay. Today I removed one of the pieces of netting and found the frag did not hold at all. The question is do I replace the net, just don't worry about it at all , or super glue it to the piece of rock. Thanks for your help.

If it were me I'd just take a bit of fishing line and thread it through the coral base and tie it around the rock
I know the gel super glue works but I don't like the idea of using that crap when not needed
it gets reel warm as it cures also

If all goes well I will have 3, two frags and a baby that sprouted off the bottem when it tipped. I will trade once I know all is well with the frags.

I have a leather toadstool that also will not stand up. how do you frag them and will it help in standing up?

rdskns71, my toadstool was tipped for close to two months before I decided to frag it. I was hoping it would come back up. I started to notice that the base was getting thinner and changing color so I figured it would be better to try to save some of it instead of having the whole thing die on me.
What I did was cut the top off with a sharp razor. I then cut the top in half for my 2 frags. I placed both pieces on different rock chunks, and covered with net to hold them down. I used rubber bands to hold the netting down. The third frag was from a head that sprouted from the bottom of the stalk when the wole thing tipped. I cut most of the stalk away from the base and turned it upside down. that frag is doing fine. Of course the one piece I checked on did not stick thus the reason for this post. Hope yours turns out ok . Good luck.
