I have a huge leather coral in my 29G reef. Can you frag it, or do you have to wait for it to split on its own?

Yes, you can frag leathers, and it's pretty easy to do. Do a search on the forum under fragging, and you'll come up with some good posts that include photos of what to do.

Did a search, still a little foggy. I put a pic below of it. My question is should I cut it at the stump and just let the stump regrow? Or can I just cut off a peice of the top? Thanks

cut it at the stump, then cut it apart to many peices at teh top, each will grow a new toad.
