Fraggin/transplanting zoos

Hi,
So I have this rock that has been in my tank since the beginning (7years) This entire time it has had two zoos on it. That rock is now taken over with Mushroom corals and the zoos no longer open and cant be seen at all.
Is there a way to "transplant" them to another rock...just slice and glue or what? I would love to get them off that rock if possible so I can take it to the lfs...
Also, why have they never grown into a larger colony after 7 years...What conditions do zoos prefer? Seems I did something right for the mushroom corals...Started with only 13 of those now have hundreds...
Thanks
Adam
Noth sure what kind they are but Ill try my best to get a picture of them tomorrow... the lights just went off..

I just fragged mine today to three pieces of different rock. Just cut underneath them with a box cutter carefully(they are usually fused together at the base so they come off matt like), pat the back dry with a paper towel. do the same to the rock and superglue it. try not to jump too much as the pods, micro stars and worms pop out and suprise you.

Really? Its that easy?
Hmm...But I have no small rocks that i can take out of the tank...All the small ones are going to be traded in for store credit...
I may have one hidden underneath all the mess, but if not...How would I transplant it under water..

underwater is going to be difficult. You can still cut them off with a razor blade but you'll have to wedge them somewhere in the rocks until they take hold (or use some form of netting to hold them in place until they attach) or find some kind of effective underwater glue (I'm not sure if you can put under water epoxy directly on the coral. Usually used to hold a rock or frag plug to rock). I took a small piece of branch rock and busted into three pieces to put the frags on.
why not just cut them off with a razor and buy some frag plugs, small clam shells, small piece of liverock/base rock ect. any thing aragonite would work and none of those whould be costly or hard to find.

underwater is going to suck to do it....to get them to stay you'll have to get something that cures underwater...and can actually apply under...but always be careful with using a razor blade...they always scare me to use since they are so sharp and zoos CAN be toxic...so wear gloves...although if you have your arms in there gloves wont do much...i personally use those mini screwdriver you can get in like a 6 pack...works GREAT for me to wedge under the zoos
