fragging a miami orchid and a birdnest

i want to frag these but i dont want to remove them from the tank because they are attached to large rocks and i'd have to mess up my tank. can i do it while they're in the tank? what do i use to cut them with?

You can either break them with your fingers or use a clean pair of cutters(used only for fragging, not just a pair out of the old toolbox). Good luck, pretty easy to do, just don't drop the cutters while in the tank with them, they can be a bugger to fish out sometimes, and can do damage to frags on the way down if you have a lot packed in there. I do it either way, I guess it depends on how thick the branches are or how tight the growth pattern is.
