Fragging Colt Coral....

I am wanting to frag a colt coral I have in one tank and put into another. Never done this before, can someone explain on how to do?

use a razor blade or pruning shears and make a clean cut. i believe the colt corals, some shrooms and leathers, you want to do this outside the system as they can release toxins into the tank. then use superglue gel to adhere it onto the LR of your choice. at least this is the method that I have seen done.

Get a new straight razor and be sure you cut at the base.Almost every time you try and cut just a limb it will not make it.I just fragged my'n and my girlfriends.If your taking a piece completly off the rock be sure and take you time. The bottom of the base is extremly sensitive. Good luck...

Terence, I am very interested in any information you obtain as well as your experience with the colt. I have one that needs some serious trimming when I finally find some time. There is a great site that might stear you in the right direction. thickheadedone@hotmail.com
