I have a rock with some red mushrooms on them, also on the rock are green zoas or polyps, I think. The mushrooms when they open up completly cover them. What do I need to do to frag the green polyps, I can take the whole rock out it is just sitting on my live rock. Thanks
Those are not regular red mushrooms...I love the dots.
Zoa are hard and crusty. Be sure to wear safety glasses and gloves. Get an exacto knife under the polyp and gently as you can, pry it up.
So then I just crazy glue them to some live rock, they a really pretty they have an orange center. The mushrooms are awsome they a spreading all over the tank, don't know if that is good or bad. Thanks Flower

Use tweezers...put gel glue drop on the rock and attach the polyp...if glue gets on the top of the polyp it will die.
GRR..I hate when it doesn’t post my post....
As long as you use crazy glue gel it won’t matter. You know it would be 100% easier to move the mushrooms. They pop off real easy and you place it in a low flow area with rubble pieces and they attach themselves. Then glue the little rock they sit on wherever you want.
