Fragging mushrooms

I just got into the reef thing not that long ago and now that I have a decent little selection of corals.
Xenia, purple finger leather, zoo polyps, green star polyps, frogspawn, toadstool, and 2 kinds of mushrooms,
I was wondering how to go about properly fragging the things. I think I heard to get a razor and slice them pie shaped and superglue them down to a rock. Is there anything else I should know? Is the survival rate high?
Thanks
John

learn something new everyday on here.
Ok, I will wait then. I was under the impression that the only way they would spread is if they moved or were fragged. I will just be more patient and see what happens.
Thanks

fragging shrooms is hard. I fraged one last night and it is not fun. I didn't have any netting and they just pull themselves right off the rock if you glue them. If you want to move them you can break the rock up, or just wait for them to split. Mine split like crazy and they were running out of space. That is the only reason I tried to cut them up. They also are pretty hard to cut. (Slimy) Good Luckl

My mushrooms split like mad too...
I started with 3 fuzzy mushrooms like 3 years ago and have close to 20 now, not including the ones I have given away!
