fragging mushrooms

i bought a small mushroom today. it was attached to 2 small rocks...i figured what the heck ill try to get 2 shrooms out of it. so i ripped it in half

. hopefully i will get two shrooms out of it. i was wondering how long i have to wait before each seperate half looks like one whole shroom again?

I dont know for sure but I dont think that your supposed to rip em. Aren't you supposed to cut them in half with a razor or knife?? Also you should put them in different places so that they dont heal and come back to one shroom.

I don't think mushrooms grow back together, I know sponges do, but yes it's best to cut with a razor or knife. Those pens with a razor at the end worked great for me when I removed my two shrooms.

Yea they will grow back together.Your supposed to take a razor and cut it clean in half across the mouth.
