This is a dumb question but can I cut my red ball sponge in half?

Is there any special way I have to do it? I mean can I just take a knife and cut it into a few pieces?

You need to use a brand new and very sharp razorblade. The reason is the spicules that are in the sponge are like small bones and need somthing sharp to cut through them and at the same time not damage the sponge to bably. Does this make sense to you?

Yeah it does make sense. Will the sponge heal on it's own?

I would suggest going to a local medical supply store and purchasing some inexpensive disposable scalpels. This is what I use to frag my leather.

when fragging your leather did you cut of one tentacle or did you cut the base and leave the foot .."
