are zoas highly poisonous? i heard that from the LFS. do i need to wear gloves when doing this?

Yes, they have toxins in them.
You should wear powder-free latex gloves and eye protection.

I would recommend getting them. They aren't too expensive.. $5?
Walmart has them in the p h a r m a c y section.

various zonthids and palythoa may or can contain palytoxins. proper caution is advisable. check out this thread for more information about palytoxins
