Ok this is my first message so I hope I dont sound like an idiot , So here we go.
I am fragging mushrooms, all types. But what I was woundering is if anyone knows what the life expedincy of a mushrrom is. and if you do . what happens when you fragg it. does the life start over or does it add from the stress or just dies at the same time the origal mushrrom was cut. I know this is kind of a stupid ? but really it is kind of bothering me. I would like to know how long my mushrroms will live.
thanks for your time

Very good question, I also thought of this some time ago and researched it.
Studies have shown that the tissue cells of coral (not sure if that includes ALL coral) and anemone do not show a detoriation rate. Therefore have the potential to literally live forever if kept in the correct conditions.
And since mushrooms are related to anemone, they are included.

ty for the answer and fast reply. that is very good to know. so as long as the new replacements grow when I cut them I can keep on cutting, that is great

So if anemones are related to mushrooms can it be fraged out in the same way or would this kill the anemone:nervous:
