FREE BEER!!! (Question about beginner SPS corals as well)

Well first of all, there is no free beer in this thread. so HA! I want to know if the numerous SPS Junkies think my tank is ready for any SPS corals?
It's a 5 month old 110 with dual 250 xm's. lifereef 24" skimmer if it matters. Calcium maintained at 480. alk is 5 meg/l ? something like that? My test kit is a crappy hagen...need a new one. pH is 8.3, specific gravity 1.025, and temperature 81.
ammonia, trites, trates equal 0,0,10 respectively.
So am I good to go with some easy SPS?
If so, any recommendations? I have a site I'm looking at ordering from....they offer the following SPS in frag sizes.
Acropora sp.
Seriatopra sp. (birds nest)
Hydnophora sp.
Montipora digitata
Montipora capricornus
Stylophora sp.
Are any of these suitable? I particularly like the monti cap...they have some really nice purple frags.
Thanks in advance!

I say....................................go for it!
Do the monti's first. Fast growers and easy. Purple cap, eh. Nice.
I have a green one and a orange one. I'll have to look around for a purple.
Good luck, Dan

well i am only 16 so i ummmm can't drink beer legally  but i LOVE sps corals and currently have a 55 gallon sps tank.....i suggest getting the montipora first because they are easier than acropora to take care off and ur set up sounds good but maybe wait a month or two also do u have any fish or clean up crew???????
good luck,
Brad

Awwww, the sps bug is spreading like a wild fire:D Your upgrading to a new level so you should upgrade your test kits. I'd buy a PH meter before sps corals if you don't have one. Auto top off is another good idea...
Your tank is kind of new for sps, kind of new for any corals but you probably feel you've waited long enough... I'll probably be adding back my sps to my new tank sooner then 5 months. I never take my own advice :)
I'd start with the Montipora digitata, give it a month or two.

I guess I'll wait a little longer.
I got $200 to spend and was hoping to get a load of frags.
I guess I'll get some new test kits. thanks

Mark,
Tell me when you get that tank started up. I have a tank full of frags for you ;)

Thanks Graham. I don't mean to sound ungreatfull but I'm going to be very picky about the corals I add. Out of the 30-40 I havehad in storage ( I don't know how many are left) I'll probably only add back about 10-15. I'd love to see what you have tho.
I have a few that nobody that I know of around here has. I'd just as well keep it that way. I don't want to wind up with a tank that looks like everybody elses. I'm sure this might sound selfish to some people. There will come a time when I'll have to part with some to get others.
