I saw that Musipilot had offered some of his caulerpa in a currect post. A lot of people replied so I don't want to to be another person on his growing list, so could a kind soul please send me some caulerpa? I just started my refugium and I don't care what kind it is. The more types the merrier. Please e-mail me if you would like to make a cheritable donation (for tax purposes) and I'll send you my mailing address. Here's my address: bishopthomas@cox-internet.com. Thanks a lot. Oh yeah, and of course I'll pay the shipping.

That took me a long time to figure out. "YHM?" Must be an aol thing. :) Thanks, everyone, for your kindness. I've recieved plenty of mail and should have enough caulerpa to start up a new, larger refugium. But to go with that new refugium, I'll have to get a new, larger tank. This caulerpa gets expensive.

I, also, would be very appreciative of some caulerpa for my new refugium. I have asked a few individuals here in the forums, but have yet to have any response from any of them. If anyone would be willing to send me some, please e-mail me at shadow6_78@hotmail.com Thanks in advance.

keisersosei,
It's not and AOL thing specificly, it's a common abbreviation used on BB's and in chat rooms. I don't, nor have I ever used AOL. It's servers are long distance from here.

What are you all using for your refugium. I am running a 10 gal tank in my basement by itself. I set it up to hoping to grow some red and green tang heaven I purchased from IPSF. I was thinking about buying a 40 or 50 gal rubbermaid from Wal Mart. And setting that up in the basement to try and grow some caulpera for my tangs. Then I was going to try and connect it to my main tank upstairs. Does the caulpera have to be put into sand like a plant to grow. The red & green tang heaven doesn't look like it could be planted. That's why I have it just floating in the 10 gal tank.

Caulerpa doesn't have to be planted or attached to rock, but I did do it that way to start with. And for caulerpa which has hold fast(like roots) it's probably the best to start . I'm not familar with all the spieces in tang heaven, but it probably doesn't matter either way.
Under one tank I enclosed the bottom of the stand for my refugium and under the other I have a 20g tank as a refugium, but I think I'm going to inclose it aswell as my next reef project.
