T its not compressed shell there are a few small shells stuck in it but its more like a bunch of spaghetti that hollow and hard I find a lot of small pieces of it washed on shore at Naples beach north of the pier next time I find a nice large piece I will send it to you its fascinating the pic does not do it justice great colors to

Very cool. The ones I found were from sanibel, and layers of shell. they were dry, So I boiled and bleached them.

lol the beach is in the bahamas, i go every winter (except this one

going in november though!
