Should I fresh water dip/bath:
anemones
corals
crabs
I have been using the 30 min bath method with meth blue found on this forum with great success for my fish.
my QT has bad lighting. Is this a problem for QTing
anemones or corals?
If I can dip my inverts do I need to QT them for 30 days still?
Any other tips or hints for adding new inverts w/o adding diseases or bad hitch hikers?
I don't have any problems in my main tank now and I don't want to add any, but I want to add corals and a anemone.

only if you want to kill them.
you can use lugols iodine or another prophylactic reef dip for corals.
I dont know of any dip solution that is safe for anemone.
nor do I know any dip that is shrip/crab friendly.

OK, I didn't think so, but wasn't sure.
Probably best to QT the anemones and maybe do a formalin dip?
Can they be exposed to air?
Do you think the poor fresh water lighting is an issue for QT?
Should corals be QTed after they are dipped?

I've never done a formalin dip on an anemone, some one else will have to say yay or nay to that, my instinct cries out no though
Can they be exposed to air?yes if you mean anemone shrimp and crabs, some corals dont handle it well such as gorgonians but most corals handle air exposure very well
Do you think the poor fresh water lighting is an issue for QT? for anything that photosynthesizes yes it will be a big problem(corals anemone etc.) for crabs shrimp fish nope
Should corals be QTed after they are dipped?Imo everything should be QT'ed whenever possible. Anything thats wet can carry in ich or other undesirables
I replied in red.
