Fresh water dip

A freshwater dip is when you take your LR and you dip it in Fresh water for I think up to two minutes. This is done to remove anything that might be in your LR that you dont want. (Hitchhikers). You should do a search in all the forums for Freshwater dip you will read all about it.

Freshwater dips are NOT for LR. That will kill all of the bacteria. Freshwater dips are for fish, parasites will drop of in freshwater. To remove hithhikers from LR you should use supersalinity which is placing the rock in water with a high salinity level. This will not kill the bacteria but unwanted hikers such as mantis and fire worms will leave their hiding spots in search for better water. Once again don't put your LR in freshwater!!

That what were all here for..

Why don't you do some research/reading instead of posting almost 600 messages in a month? How big is your ego? There is a lot of info that can be found here if you just search the old posts. This board is extremely helpful, but quite frankly, I am tired of hearing from you.
My 2 cents,
Steve

The mods will shut one or both of you out if you two continue trading these kinds of posts.
Just let it go. Life is too short. How about we all get a beer and forget about it.
Sh2000...glad you did not dip your rock in freshwater. Personally, I am not a fan of fresh
water dips for fish either. I think it is fairly stressful and should only be used in extreme situations where no better alternative exists IMO.

WOW,
3 replies in 3 minutes.
I guess I hit a sore spot. It is your EGO

You'll probably have 600 posts by the end of the night. Like I said there are plenty of people here to help you, but there is also old threads where you can find answers to most of your questions.
P.S. Whats wrong with my Mets

Steve
P.P.S. Are you a guy or a girl
