Fresh water dip?

Can some one give me the run down on the best way to do a fresh water dip? how long and all that? need help fast

sorry about that, I have a flame angel and he has Ich. I do have a (QT) but I have a fish in it and the water is at 1.009, so I can't use that, I will have the water back to 1.024 in about 5 days but the angel is so bad I don't think he will make it that long.

FW dip just isn't going to treat ich.
If you have ich problem, all the fish need to be treated with hypo.

I was not hoping it would cure ich, I just wanted to help the flame angel to live till the (H) tank was ready then I would treat all the fish, but he is dead now so thanks anyway.
