Do you think this fish would be safe with shrimp?
I had a sixline wrasse that killed 3 of my shrimps,so I definately don't want to have the same problem with the fridmani.Please let me know what you guys think?
I have a 40g tank(not set up yet but I wanna plan before I set it up).
BTW,please only post if you have experience with the fish.:D

I've had a fridmani in a 12 gallon nano with multiple pepermint shrimp and have had no problems....
Wrasse on the other hand are usually not safe with shrimp....

I have one with a Perc Clown and a Sailfin Tang, oh and some shrimp. He never bothers any of them.
He is my favorite fish and I highly recomend one!

Mine is the smallest fish in the tank so he is lowest on the chain of command. He actually gets harassed quite a bit by my flame angel (who will be finding a new tank soon)

Mine is with a cleaner and a fire shrimp. The cleaner was already there when I got him, but when I added the fire shrimp he harassed it a good bit before the shrimp took cover... I recommend separating a section of your tank for a couple of hours if possible and introducing him there... They get along fine now.. I actually catch the Fire shrimp cleaning Freud (my fridmani) from time to time.. which is weird because my last fire shrimp (RIP) never did any cleaning.... Just my two cents...

I had a fridmani and he never messed with my shrimp at all. However, he was the only fish that my sixline wrasse ever killed. My sixline is fairly peaceful, even with 5 shrimp in my tank, but he harrassed my fridmani relentlessly until he was dead.
