I found something interesting in my reef, don't know if it was responsible for any dissapearences but I'm curious anyway.
It has about 1/2 -3/4 inch long body resembling that of a sea slug, you know white and squishy looking. (don't you love my terminology?) And then it has lots of long tentiticles (maybe 20).
Kind of reminds me of some squid pics I saw a while ago on the discovery channel.
Anyway it's body was mostly submerged in the sand, it was against the glass with the tenticles sprawling out on the top of the sand.
I love this reef stuff, every time I look in there there's something new. Most of it doesn't scare me though.
Anyone know what this is??

Are all the tenticles coming out of one end? If so, sounds like it could be a spaghetti worm. They are detritavours, good things to have in the tank. Do a search on the board to find out more about them. HTH
