Ok.. one more question..
But first.. thank you guys so much for all the useful information.. I KNOW that every time I look at my tank and see the greatness in it that it is VERY MUCH a direct result of your willingness to share your knowledge.
My bubble took down a slice of a prawn today and is bigger now (bubbly) than he was before.. and I will try to feed my brain tonite (heard they arent as happy to eat during the day as bubbles)
One more question.. i have a Frogspawn that has 4 different 'branches' and I wanted to feed him ( I heard they respond to food well if you feed them like 1 time a week or so)
But he isnt as obvious about his mouth, etc..
any advice on how you have feed them in the past??

I have one too. I feed each branch a silverside or a small piece of krill. I dont know if I only feed one branch if the others will get nutrition from it or not. The mouth will be in the center (roughly) of the branch and is pretty well seen when the coral is extended out.
I too learned all this from others on this site.
Did your brain coral eat yet?

Yes.. my brain finally took a piece of shrimp from me.
The issues is that every time I have tried to give him food (til last nite) my damn cleaner shrimp would come and grab it.
So I gave in and handed the thing a piece first, then handed a piece to my brain. They are so much slower about getting the food where it belongs than my bubble. Wasnt used to that.
hehe

Mal is right. Just hand the food to the frogspawn and it will eat it. Feeding one head does not give nutrition to the others though. Each head is its own polyp and since their is no connecting tissue to pass food through each head is on its own.

REEFJ13, Thanks for the info on the frogspawn "heads." I wasn't sure if they were connected. I'll make sure each gets some chow now. :D Every time I'm here, I learn something new.
ALIANATED, glad to hear the brain ate. I have to watch out for tankmates when I feed too. My cleaner shrimp and maroon clown love to steal food from the slower eating corals. They get sneaky sometimes.
