Hello
I have a frogfish and a LFS received in a cool red frogfih or angler like some people like to call them. My LFS receive in a cool red frogfish and I was wondering if you can have more then one per tank.

you can have more than one in a tank, males of the same species fight w/ one another. However importantly they will readily eat each other, so that hard to rule out. Are they the same size.

The one my LFS received is a little smaller. I would say about haf the size. I understend that the can eat a fish its size but I keep my frogfish well fed. Should I take the chance or not.

The problem with a frog fish eating another large fish (by comparison) is that because they move very little, it takes a long time for them to digest their meals. Which means that the prey could start to rot in their stomach and cause them to bloat, which leads to death. In other words, you might lose both fish.
