Would like to know a bit about these two corals. Which one would be the nicer looking one??
I am wanting to put a "small" frag of one of these into my 2.8 gal but don't want it to sting anything else in there, can anyone make a suggestion or recommendation??

the sweepers on either of these can get very long. I have seen mine get to at least inch or more. They are very similar corals and you really just need to give them space. Not so easy in a nano. I actually have a torch and about 6 frags of frogspawn. Torch is also very similar and I believe all are Euphyllia sp.

They are about the same to me. My hammer is huge, but my frogspawn grows faster. The hammer seems a little hardier. IDK...

Thanks for the replies. I think I will leave those out of this tank then.
Any opinions about Yellow Polyps?? Would you add them to your tank or not??

They will plauge your tank too. They are pretty but they grow like weeds. Why not a multi colored zoa garden. Just a thought.

Yes I think I will go that way. They are very dear in price here so I need to find small frags of them. One of our stores has some very nice ones, they are a nice pale green with red/pink center but there is only about 5 of them for 19.99 unless she can give me a better deal.
I do have the green skirts/orange center and red skirts/pink center. These ones (red ones) are very very tiny but are growing well. I have a yuma purple/green ric coming today from a fellow here. I would like to keep this little tank as a ric & zoa tank. I do have my green star polyps but cannot part with them as they add that nice punch of green to the tank and i love them.
I also was given the traditional green button polyps that are loose, how can I get them to attach to a branch of rock??
I am not fond of the glue thing unless the coral is already on a piece of rock and then you just glue the rock to rock. I have lost some corals with the glue thing (using the right glue) so am looking for other ways now to attach things.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

lol 19.99 for 5 is cheap compared to where i live.
where i live they are in uk price £35-£45 in usa terms thats $70-$90
so thats no so bad.
also i think the green with red in middle is watermelon type. and i quite like those.
i got to admit i do love the zoa's names like green alien,green micky cats,dragon eyes and the funnyest of all "Gorilla N I P P L E S"

great names

Well did not get the zoas, the price is now 69.00 for them and they did not look as nice as the last time.
I did get the new ric though from a guy here for 15.00 and it looks pretty good, time will tell though as it is small and needs to adjust to my tank.
Gorilla Nipples is what I think I have, I posted a pic of mine a while ago and that is what they were identified as, but yes there are some pretty neat names out there for them that is for sure.
I won't even have the chance to see let alone buy anything of this sort as they don't come by here very often unless I special order them in like most of my stuff I did. I will have to check and see though later on what I can get though.
