i just bought my first frogspawn coral. right now i have him wedged into the rockwork and he is placed on his side. ( kinda sticking out of the rockwork). will it survive like this or does he need to be placed upright? i think i will wait to see if he is doing ok for a while and move him if need be. what do u think?

I would place him upright so his tenticles can sweep back and forth. You can also superglue him to your rockwork so he won't fall.

I've placed hammers and frogspawns nearly horizontal before and they have been fine. The flow is what's more important. The tentacles should sway gently in the current. If they whip around, it's too much.

As long as they are not whipping against it they should be okay. You just want them to be moving rather slowly in the "breeze"

SUPER GLUE is it possible with anything to glue a rock onto the over flow cover or will I have to drop the water in the tank to do it. What do you guys use to achieve this, I just need a few more rock to reach the top but I need to glue flat rocks. Any suggestions?

mine is wedged sideways in the rock (I moved it a little but its still simular). It could care less.
