Frogspawn question? Advice appreciated...

I have a cool looking frogspawn that is totally clear with purple tips. I've had it about 2.5 wks now and has been looking great. I've been doing weekly water changes and all levels are good. I feed 2-3 times a wk and I recently changed the food from Marine snow to pure phytoplankton.
The tank in about 24" tall and it is sitting right about in the middle un HO T5 lights with a blue LED strip too.
The other night the timer did not turn off and the lights were on for about 13 hours...I know way too long but that night I turned the lights way down to barely dimmed. Yesterday they seemed to be doing fine during the day and last night they shrunk up so much I thought they were dying. Today the "sunrise" light came on and they were looking good again and then the daylight kicked on and they still looked good.
I'm afraid they may be dying or not as healthy. What light intensity do they need or where should their placement be in the tank? I have been thinking about shortening the light cycle to see if that helps since maybe too much light affected them. All other corals look fine and healthy...

I don't understand...you say they are looking good...YET you think they are dieing???? WHY do you think that if they look good?
Can you post a picture of the FS?

LOL Sorry I know how that can sound confusing. They were extended out nicely the day with the light and looking full but the next day (which was last night) they were looking really shrunk in and skinny where they looked like they were about to close up. Today they are looking a little better considering I figured I'd wake up today and they would be dead. They are right next to the cleaner shrimp in the center of pic.. My question is the light placement of this coral?

My frog is huge during the day with the lights on, then fully retracts at night when the lights are out. I don't have any night pics.
All my stoney's close up to nothing, leaves you wondering how they do that or where they store their food....I don't think I would worry about it.

Thanks!! They are looking healthy again so I guess all is good. Maybe they were just stressed from too long in the light. I believe they are at a good depth from the light right now..

Lol, they retract at night and come out during the day. Some corals do that, while others get big at night and feed. Feed well and often!

lol, with the color spectrum, it looks like the day should be night and night should be day, lol. I hope whoever looks at this thread doesn't just look at the pics and not read anything.

Wow that is a nice coral you got there. So these will grow fast, even the skeleton part also? Ours is still a small coral and I hope it grows big. It does retract all the way in and I never noticed that it did that at night and thought it was too much light....
