frogspawn sucked in PH

Today my PH slipped down and one head of my frogspawn got sucked in!

It doesn't look too good but I think it still has most of it's tentacles "or whatever they're called). Is their a chance it will survive?

They can heal themselves rather quickly.....usually in a couple of hours or a day or so depending on the damage ,provided everthing in terms of water is good!

No, it wasn't.

There is a chance of survival, subject to how much tissue was lost. Do you have a picture?

I can't post a pic.

It does looks a little better. If their are only a few "tentacles" (don't know what they're called) left on the head can it grow new ones?

They can regrow their tentacles, and really you've made it through the most critical time... I would keep it in an area of pretty good flow... This will decrease the likeliness of it RTNing on you (Rapid Tissue Necrosis) If you see it start turning brown and "melting" on you, its a goner... You may want to subdue the lighting while it is healing itself as well... DON"T put it directly under any Metal Halides... Hope this helps...

Thanks! It does help. It is looking much better now, not shriveled looking anymore. Hopefully it will pull through. If one head dies they won't all die right?

Yeah... But like I said... If you see the damaged head RTNing go ahead and just direct the PH right at that one head... You will lose that one head, but at least it won't spread to the others... I didn't know you had multiple heads on yours... :) Your others will survive nicely...
