Frogspawn Up and Down or Sideways?

Hey do you guys stick the stalk o fthe frogspawn in the sand so the head is facing up? I put mine in sideways between two rocks however I notice this way the head underneath doesnt get as much light. However it seems happy. Any thoughts?

I have noticed the one underneath hasnt been as full as the two on top, however only had them for about 4 days and i noticed that was the one that was pressed up against the bag from the lfs.

They do well in a higher light, but give them time. What type of lets were they under at the lfs?
