What is a good temp for frogspawn? AND if the temp is too warm will it cause the frogspawn to not open fully????

The outer extremes would likely be somewhere around 72-85. 78-80 is often considered optimal.

So if my water is 82-84 that would not harm it? I'm working on cooling temps. Possibly may have to make a screen and uncover one section of top.

No, that range is absolutely fine.

IME right around 96-100 degrees will kill off frogspawn. Not all of it though. Had a heater mishap. Only things I lost were kenya tree, my green toadstool melted and had to be fragged and two heads of frogspawn.

That's a temperature spike, though - not a maintained condition.

True but it was maintained at about 86 for weeks on end before that because my thermometer was off, pretty sure the heater working overkill to keep the tank so hot was what made it go nuts. And at 86 nothing died, my favia looked stressed out but everything else looked great.
