Frogspawn

Do well under most lighting conditions; PC, VHO, T5, Halide. Probably in the middle to the top (depending on what lighting system). Can be aggressive so give them enough space, don't let anything touch. They grow pretty well if you spot feed them every so often, usually mysis shrimp or something similar. They also like moderate flow.

Something I've recently found out is that if you have clown fish that try to host it they can damage the frogspawn as it will not fully open when being used as a host and cant get as much food or light which can lead to their death or downfall.

I haven't purcased any corals from Saltwater Solutions in Naples but impressed with the store.
There's a place near me on 41. Turn left at the light before Six Mile Cypress/Gladiolus and he's in that plaza next to the barber shop in the corner. It's right across from Jamaica Bay community. They just changed ownership and the guy has a $15 frag tank with some pretty good steals. They go pretty fast and he gets his shipments on Tursday or Friday. The guy with the hippy flavor is realy nice and fairly knowledgeable.

I've heard frogspawn is super easy. I've also heard that it isn't a beginner coral. I never know what to believe, therefore I've never bought one.

Just make sure it is open nicely. They can be in poor health in a LFS with damaged tissue.

mine is probably my favorite coral of them all! it was one of my first corals and i will never be without one! i dont really spot feed it......should i? it seems to be doing great and i also see small heads popping up everywhere with no spot feed. i stole mine for 40 bucks and it has 7 heads.
