Frogspawn

I have mine high up in the tank and directly under my pc's. They are classified as an aggressive coral in that they will grow sweeper tentacles and sting other corals. Two things will encourage this, strong water flow and close proximity of other corals. You can put them next to a hammer coral, as they are closely related and can't sting each other. Just keep the current to a mild waving, and don't put anything right next to it and you should be fine. They are a great coral and pretty easy given good water and chow. Mine is budding out and I'm going to prop it soon by trimming some branches off with new growth. I feed DT's and home made food soaked in zoe.

Hi everybody, I'm new to the board, great place.
Ok I have a frogspawn in my tank which is my favorite coral. First off all the things I'm going to write is about my frogspawn because characteristics are different in each living things.
I bought him 6 months ago and now he doubled the size. I put him directly under the MH's, and an alternating strong current. Mine is very aggressive and has very powerfull stings. I cannot put anything near him.
But the one my friend has kind of different. It doesn't touch any coral or touch them but no harm. I know you are confused but IME these things are different. Not only for corals, also for fish.
But I think frogspawns are great and make a reef tank look really cool

I have my frog spawn on the botom of the tank in no current. I have read that they like bright indirect light and if you keep the current low they will not form sweeper tentacles.
