After thawing meaty frozen foods in a little tank water, can it be refrigerated and used the next day?
thanks

I wouldn't -- it starts breaking down when you thaw it, plus the old addage of don't refreeze pork and fish should probably apply here as well.
You could probalby get away with it in a pinch but not sure why you'd want to.

Cant you just break off the food you need. I use a meat hammer to bust my frozen up into small pieces so I dont thaw to much.

It does have preservatives. I honestly see no reason why this shouldn't be done (as long as it is just for the next day).

I thaw out and mix several different cubes in a contianer, add selcon and garlic.
This all gets placed in a container with fresh r/o water to make it easy to pour. I feed then refrigerate till I run out.
It used to last a week, but (I have more tanks now) so it only last a couple of days.

I normally take the frozen cubes out of the package, cut them with a sharp knife if I want to feed half a cube or something and then defrost the half cube in some tank water.

That's exactly what I do . Absolutely nothing wrong with doing this

I thaw and refreeze, but I use r/o water to thaw instead of tank water. I have never had issues. I only feed it about 2 or 3 times a week because I vary the diet quit a bit, that is why I freeze it again.
