Go with fresh if u can its like fresh human food. Freeze dried sucks the nutrients out of the food, so go with frozen or frsh, jmo

Most freeze drying companies add vitamins and nutrients that compensate for the minute amounts lost through freeze drying.

Do you want artificial nutrients that are added after death or natural nutrients found within fresh/frozen foods? You can go with freeze-dried and hope the companies are adding the correct amounts of nutrients, but maybe a bad batch will have too low the amount or just as bad too high an amount, both being detrimental to your fish and your system.
You can significantly reduce/eliminate the the possibility of nutrient under/overdose when using quality fresh/frozen foods :)
