Fruit Stickers?

It's just annoying. I don't care what the brand of fruit is. I'm not talking about the stickers that are used for checkout...I'm talking about the stickers that say, "Chiquita" and stuff. The product name. I get advertisements crammed down my throat 24/7, I don't care about fruit brands and I'm sure most others don't either.

Who cares?

Maybe you should place the sticker on your forehead?

Here's another advertising thing I wonder sometimes about. I can't remember what pizza chain does this (shows how much I strive to ignore commercials), but one of them has a deal where you buy a large pizza and can get a medium for a penny. I wonder if people think...WOW that's a good deal I'm paying only a penny for a whole pizza. Why don't they just say buy the pizza and get another for free? Do they sell more pizzas this way?

Thats exactly why they do it, it's called a marketing strategy, if a deal sounds good to the general public it will make them want to buy more of a product.

do they have an anti-peel-off force field around them?
The newer fruits do. I don't recommend peeling them off. The company HAS to make them edible. You're paying for the sticker, you might as well eat it.

what are you talking about? peeling fruit stickers off is impossible? no its not...
anyways, what i meant was, for the thing that scans all the UPCs in your cart and checks you out automatically, couldnt you just take the tags off some of the stuff before you get your cart scanned? seems too easy to me.
you seriously eat stickers? you get weirder every day.

I always thought if things didn't work out with my current line of work, I could always get a job putting stickers on fruit.
