Frustrated with sebae anemonie

For a while he looked withdrawn (not falling apart) very tiny tentacles. yesterday he looked like he was coming back. I try to perch him on a rock and all he wants to do is keep trying to get to the sand on the bottom of the tank. It looks like something is coming out of the center of him like he is turning inside out. I don't have camera to take picture. all my other anmonies look fine. This thing was huge like a softball when i got im over 2 months ago now the size of an small egg. Could it be trying to split in two.
Any help would be great. I'm close to taking this out my tank and giving up on him

just looked again, has milky white stuff coming from center of it.
What is up with this thing

Sorry to be the one to tell you but.....based on my similar experience with sebae....I think yours is dying or already dead. The white, milkly substance is, I think, him disintegrating. If he smells terrible get him out of your tank fast, or you'll have pieces of him everywhere.

If he is falling apart then it's time to take him out. Anemone are slow reactors. By the time one is doing poorly it's already to late. Sorry.

But also, remember, sabaes are going to go where they want to. I kind of place mine in the general area I want him and let it get comfortable. They will move around until they find the right light/water movement mixture. Hopefully he'll pull through, but it sounds like it's a gonner. <img src="graemlins//dead.gif" border="0" alt="[dead]" />

This happends to me before ... good thing my anenone is still alive.
Do this:
1. take him out of the tank (wear gloves if need be)
2. do a quick smell test
3. does he smells like rotten egg or decomposing fish ?
4. if yes ... sorry he's dying, take him out of the tank.
5. if no ... be patient, he might be roaming around looking for some place to anchor to and do a quick smell test everyday just to be sure.
Another way to test if he's dying is under utraviolet light. If you have actinic light, turn it on (just the actinic). If the anemone have a glow on it that means he still got algae living in him, meaning he's alive. It it doesn't glow, take it out and do a smell test.

I should have taken him out sooner. You guys were right. I came into my office this morning and took it out. It fell into a million pcs, and man did this thing smell. I did a 5 gallon water change right away. I figured this would be best.
So the moral is if it looks like it's dying it probably is.
That sucked.
