The same thing happen to me. I was wanting to do it COD to make sure that I didn't get burned, since he did not have paypal. He said he would look into it and never responded to any of my emails after that.

This is exactly why I didn't deal with him. He wanted me to send him a check or money order and then he would send out the merchandise.
I am not that stupid.
I only pay by credit card because I know I can get my money back if I get burned.
